Biography

Anne S. Rogers’ work considers having—whether objects, relationships, or space and time. Anne creates systems that explore their everyday rituals and the various communities they are a part of. 

Born and raised in the Midwest, Anne is currently an MFA candidate in Fiber/Textiles at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. They graduated in Spring 2019 with a BA in Studio Art and Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies from Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA . They have received grants to intern at Cave Paper in Minneapolis, MN and Española Valley Fiber Arts Center in Española, NM. In May 2020, they completed a graduate certificate concentrated in hand papermaking at University of Iowa Center for the Book in Iowa City, IA.
